Some nutter reversed over my 9 year old salix

It was planted when the whole area was grassed and gradually things changed and now the poor thing is on the edge of the cottage drive. Someone was bound to do it! I rushed off to the local garage this morning to buy extra bread and clipped my cousin Mo's car!!

I hope you'll be able to save it.

So do I hywel, it was the first tree I ever bought. My husband is now going back on his word that the tree and hedge planters here will give me a hand as they are too busy, so now the maintenance man will do it (when he's not too busy!) Poor wee tree.

And bless you Kasy, it;s an awful long way to come from Monmouthshire to shove in a stake!! It neads to be moved because the driveway has changed shape and someone was bound to run it over!

oh, no problems Lulu - I do like see new places;-) and yes - you are right - it deserves a better space:) and in that case it should be done asap... so while you are waiting (looks like a big tree) - I would suggest cut the roots with a space around the crown (well - at least where it used to be) so it will be easier to move it to the new place:)
And really could help - used to do maintenance in other people's gardens, lol
