lol Alex, he was a leery little b****r, he had just been trying to buck me off...pity they didnt get the camera going in time, I wouldnt have looked so great then! I was small enough to ride ponies, which he was, so all I can say is I dont know how the kids stayed alive..cos a couple of them were quite a handful. I always knew I was cut out to be a champion dressage rider..but regretfully ran out of time LOL!

is that what i should say ~ i ran out of time to be an olympic long jumper?

I always wanted to be a champion swimmer-- I love swimming but found that I enjoyed floating best and theres not a class for who can sleep the longest.....

there ought to be pam. didnt billy connolly say he was good at practising the luge ~ lying down in bed!!

You look very elegant Tet .... my husband use to ride when he was younger , his sister use to ride in Point to Point races .. :o)

Amy I think Point to Points would frighten me to death! We used to gallop up thru the woods jumping the fallen trees and that was hair raising enough. How we never came across a walker or a dog I'll never know..but Im grateful we didnt!

Love this photo, used to ride on Sunday afternoon (when we lived in Melton Mowbray) a family affair OH rides well so did sister in law, I spent more time sliding off, always had the slow nag that stopped every five minutes to eat the grass, the last time I was on a horse was when a friend (experienced rider) asked me to come with her to some posh stables (the owner rode side saddle with all the gear on!!) they both decided on a gallop, of course my horse went with them with me holding on for grim death, hat was too large so kept falling over my eyes, I was petrified, it is a wonder I am alive to tell the story, I could hardly sit down for a few days, had blisters on my bottom!! have not been near a horse since!!

Lol! DD..I was taking a chance with this ornery beggar..I have my tongue between my teeth...one buck and I couldve been mute for life!! OH would probly have been pleased tho...
