Went mad today and bought this for £20!
Seven spikes in bloom with another three to come.

Homebird - it was quite extravagant! But I have been working my wotsits off lately....
Delonix - dear though it was, it is a strong looking plant with plenty of new canes emerging too.

Meanie:
This orchid looks a lot like a variety of Dendrobium grandiflorum. My neighbor Randallsd (GoY screen name) has a gigantic D. grandiflorum in his backyard...it fills a half barrel.

Delonix - I'm pretty sure that it's a Den. kingianum hybrid. Check out the images here.....

The fourth one in on the top row is Den.kingianum "Berry Oda" which I have.

Meanie:
So many of the Dendrobium species look a like. I'm so used to seeing D. kingianum blue/purple hybrids here...they are tough as nails.
Thanks for the information! :>)
