These were too good to pass up, especially as they're supposed to be a bit tricky to get to flower again.

They always raise a chuckle in me!
Karen - Calceolaria and Mimulus are both in the order Lamiales.

Aha! As I suspected! I like this one even more than the red one. Do they like quite moist conditions, like Mimulus then?

Thank you Milky!

They would be ok in my conservatory tonight! I've shut the door to it. It's blowing a gale outside and it's freezing in there!

Well we did last year Karen, which allowed the forest floors to open up and lots of wild flowers grew more as it set the trees back so they did nt shadow the floor, I recall it on one of the tv programs saying about it.

Yes, I wouldn't be surprised 6d. It's very mild again here today and the rain is coming straight down like spring rain, very gentle and benign. Long may it continue!

We have high winds here no rain just winds, I see Delonix has had them too in usa, he said normally they are warm but these are now cold, they have died down today no wind they are expecting warm weather now San-Francisco.

we had high winds the other night, & I woke up yesterday morning and my front door had blown open and some of my cats had gotten out. Not good! They are indoor cats because of all the predators. I was able to round them all up though.
Meanie - where do you find all of these fabulous plants????

You just have to keep your eyes open Lauram! In the current economic climate there are deals everywhere....

I always tell people to try eBay for plants - I've gotten some fabulous deals - I just stick with well-rated sellers.

I prefer to touch first though Lauram...
