Megs, tractor shed and courtyard

What a lovely place, I am guessing this is your home? What do you keep in your big barn?

the little lean too type shed is where i keep the tractor mower..then there is a work space..the large shed at the rear there is all sorts of stuff in there from a car to various bits im keeping for friends with no space..

You could have some huge pots there, planted up with shrubs and standards

You have an amazing area here to do something with Skips , I looked at it once , went away and have come back for another look , I'm trying to remember ideas that I have seen in similar situations my brain is ticking over .. If I think of something I will let you know ! you obviously need to be able to move vehicles around the yard ........ first thing I would do is to soften all round the edges while the rest of your planning is taking place , for instance lots of nice tall waving cosmos in all sorts of different colours , they would happily seed themselves next year ... also Iceland poppies ( Papaver ) you would have an almost instant splash of vivid colours .. they don't mind the rough ground either .....

I agree Amy, it's such a lovely space, wish my cosmos would selfsedd though, it never has...
