Reminds me of Carol Klein...have you been watching on Fridays? Her style is very like yours I think

Have seen a couple of Carol's programmes, but I am not a fan of hers, only because she uses the long latin names of the plants and I hate that, I want to know the common names, I get bored when I don't know what they are! lol. Her garden is stunning though, and of course is at different heights and levels and I am just so envious of where she lives. lol. Oh to win the lottery!! This time next year eh! I wonder if she has help in her garden or if she does it all by herself. She has soo sooo much patience as well I am afraid I have not got enough of that to go and collect and plant up seeds etc. and of course it is much more fun going to Silica Lodge and having lunch out before or after buying plants. Much better idea me thinks.

Bit like that myself I must admit, but my friend Denise collects all the seeds and grows them herself...very patient! Of course I can't agree with you over the names of the plants, I mean, how many plants are called 'daisy' for example....and I absolutely love the names, even when I get them wrong or mis-pronounce them! I do hate the way she lengthens her words though....I'm like 'oh, just spit it out Carol' ! lol x

I think it's a matter of each to his own prononciation motty. TV presenters all have their own interpretations don't they! Some of Carol's are a bit strange I think! I am funny though because I learned a lot of Italian and Latin as part of my training, so I tend to Italianise everything! Sometimes my pronunciations are a little bit Puccini! lol ;)
