It's a very sweet cottage and just love those chimneys. When I lived in Yorkshire there was no fireplace, so I bought an outside chimney and never looked back! I am now the proud owner of 2 chimeras and a log burning stove!! A happy bunny!

Lulu, It is a lovely oldie worldy cottage, not many mod cons for us. We burn a coke/log fire and the rest of the house is heated with electricity. Wish all the rooms had their original fireplaces, my bedroom has but not useable, kitchen fireplace again is still there boxed in but not useable. We only rent the cottage and land, been here nearly 32 years now. Wouldn't want to live anywhere else though. Would not be able to have a garden as big as this anywhere else I suppose. Unless we win the lottery and find one in the middle of North Yorkshire or somewhere similar. Come to think of it anywhere would do me as long as it had a garden and hills and a stream ah the dreams.
