Each petal and leaves are made individually, then assembled before using sugar dust to finish the colouring.

Cold porcelain Teds...what is that..do you mean unfired clay type of idea? They are really beautiful! So real looking!

Cold Porcelain is made from pva glues, cornflour and a little oil and a preservative. I bye it in, but you can make your own. I stopped making the flowers out of sugar past after I had assembled a large arrangement then promptly drop it.
