I love the sibiricas....my favourite iris. Last year I bought a very fancy bearded iris, and managed to kill a yellow water iris (no small fete) and since we've moved and there is a stream on the property...woo hoo...can't wait til it's iris time here. (still have loads of snow on the ground) Have you ever grown Iris pallida? it has variegated leaves and lovely scented flowers.

Lori a girl after my own heart. I have not grown pallida but I have been considering buying it this year, it has caught my eye when trawling through the plant catalogues.
