This Aeonium is 6ft/2m tall and growing in my neighbor's yard directly across the street from me. Posted for my friend Sandra. Photo taken Feb. 11, 2011.

its on my latest blog...it has only just started....but i have also sown some seed from one that flowered last year and so far one seedling has appeared...:-)

I've never heard of this plant growing from seed. We only grow them from cuttings here...it's easier.

cutting are by far the easiest Delonix..but i couldnt resist when i saw the seed....

I have much more success with cuttings of most plants...The best thing about seed is the cross polination. I had two different aeoniums in flower at the same time last summer so theres a chance of a few different ones germinating.

Yes, most people here plant trees/shrubs from cutting. You know what type of plant you'll end up with a cutting. Seeds can be highly variable...especially, for flowering plants. This is the reason why almost 99% of the time we grow Plumerias from cuttings.
