Bem-te-ví - (Pitangus sukphuratus)

Dont know his size but with a beak like that he could be part of the crow family!

Not in the U.K., Tet, which is a shame. Mainly found in S. America I think. So I'll never get to see one!

This bird is called Bem-te-ví, (it means "I saw you clearly") it has to do with his song... it sounds like the words "bem te ví"

It reachs the size of 22 to 25 cm and 60gr weight, is a monogamic bird and can turn very agressive if feels its nest threatened.

Aleyna ... you'll have to fool the Tulips to make them grow in the Winter somehow! Love the info. on the bird ... a handsome one. : o )

I'm wondering how can I fool the tulips... :S
I tried to keep the bulbs on freezer and change it to the fridge on June, it grew up a little, but the sprouts died as soon as I planted the bulbs and brought it out of the fridge :(
