Amaryllis 1st flower bud in living room 19-02-2011 (Amaryllis Hippeastrum)

This is the same plant as the photo of it in the kitchen only now I've moved it to the living room & put a cane in the pot to help keep the flower stem straight & so that it doesn't bend under its own weight when the flowers begin to open.

I'll upload another couple as time goes by & the flowers finally open.
