This is one of my favorite variegated tropical Hibiscus shrubs...it can become a large tree in the tropics....here in San Diego it rarely grows larger than 20ft/6.1m tall. Photo taken at the San Diego Zoo on Feb. 11, 2011.

Yes, I think the leaves are coarser on this plant. The flowers are yellow fading to a pink-orange.
