Wonderful!
I can't get mine to flower for love nor money!

Thanks again, 6d! The flowers have now fully opened & today or tomorrow I'll upload a couple more pics. :-))
Manie, are your bulbs getting a cold spell of a few weeks? Although frost will kill the bulbs they need about 6 weeks of cold to get them to flower. Mine spend the entire winter on the windowsills of our flat. The one in my photo above spent the winter on the kitchen windowsill. We do have double glazing but it still gets pretty cold there. At this moment I have a 2nd bulb with a bud halfway up to its final height. No idea at present what colour it will be. I have about 50 bulbs, all but 3 grown from my own seed. They flowered last year for the first time - 4 years from seed to flower!

The leaves have just finished - is it too soon to stick the bulb in the garage for a bit?

If the leaves have died down then it won't hurt it being put in the garage for a couple of months. Just try to remember it's there & check it from time to time to see if it has begun to make new growth.
