Clematis cirrhosa var balearic

I like the colour of this one,

yes it is pretty, for agaes I thought it was freckles but it has been id for me by fellow GoYers.

Is it in a very sheltered spot? I love the evergreen clems but haven't dared buy one as it's so cold and windy where we live (quite high up and open)

not particularly Lulu33. This area is a bit like a wind tunnel and doesnt get much sun either. I am on the edge of the yorkshire wolds so tends to be a bit cooler than the surrounding areas.

I swa that you are East Yorkshire, which made me think, maybe I can have one. I like wedding bells I think it's called, prolific white flowers. Or maybe it's Avalanch!

it would be worth a try. I'm just north of Hull, near Beverley.
