These succulents were growing on the roof of the restrooms in the children's section of the San Diego Botanical Gardens. Photo taken Mar. 1, 2011.

Thanks! This was one of 3 or 4 that had succulents on the roof. I really like this concept. I know it's been tried on larger building to kept them cool during the hot summers here and other parts of the U.S.

i know of one that has daffolis on. it looks amazing...and it is very insulating against the cold too..i would love to do one oneday..

thats amazing...i have seen green roofs here but they only have grass or small sedums..
