This tree is kind of weedy in many areas of California, especially in the San Francisco Bay Area. It can also become a very large tree to 60ft/18m plus. However, large trees have millions of sweetly scented flowers in late winter or spring. Photo taken in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. on Mar. 3, 2011.
