A closer view of the sweetly scented flowers. It was a little of a challenge taking this photo without getting stung by a bee...as there were many bees on the flowers. Photo taken Mar. 3, 2011.

It's a very nice tree...however, it can be a bit weedy. You probably know this also...since it's native to Australia. :>)

I know this tree so well because it's so widely grown almost everywhere in CA. like: P. rhombifolia (Auranticarpa rhombifolia), P. tenuifolium, and P. tobira.
