I have a couple of clumps of A.I.pictum, we also have some wild ones in the wood which pop up in the garden as seedlings brought in by the birds I asume.

Are the berries poisonous?

Yes sunrose they are poisonous. I like your photos of south african plants, i would love to visit Kirstenbosch and table mountain, I grow quite a lot of South african plants especially pelargoniums, aloe and proteas which are hard work in Norfolk!

I agree with you Michaella, the markings are lovely, and I love the shape of the leaves, very pretty.

There used to be a tremendous clump of this at my old place - it was there when I moved in and just grew larger by the year.
