I think that mine has two spikes forming! Should become clearer in a week or two.

Just don't tell me yours is yellow as well....

This yellow variety is extremely common. It tends to start blooming in Oct./Nov. This one appears to be blooming late, although, I guess it can bloom anytime.

Oh please say it blooms many times a year over there.

Mine is the same to look at as this one!!

Yes, many hundreds! They have a large sections planted along the property fences and in the front yard (most are in the ground, some are in pots, also). I'll get some pics soon. Here's some pics I posted a couple of years ago.

I didn't have to wait a week or two! Definitely flower spikes, and there are three!!!

I think they bloom pretty quickly once they develop their spikes...that's my experience, anyway. :>)
