It is doing ever so well in the garden I did wonder if the cold winds would damage it when I put it in, but eh ho it is thriving and doing really well as are the others too. I found some Tiarellas and Heucerellas and they are also doing well. Although I have no idea if they would survive in the ground if we get another horrendous winter like the last one. Again it is just keep the fingers crossed. I haven't got the time or the patience or the space to lift everything and put it somewhere to overwinter so they have to live or not as the case may be.

I agree with you Oliveoil, I always say, they have 2 chances!!!. I've been very lucky this winter, I think I have only lost my bottle brush, although I would have rather lost half a dozen things rather than that as its taken quite a few years to get to the size it was. BooHoo!! and it was beautiful. I have bought another one, but its only very small, will get a bigger one when I get round to it. My daughter sent me a packet of seeds , so I will give some of them a try aswell.

Sorry about the bottle brush plant, it is very spectacular when in flower, my daughter spied one the other day. That is the only trouble when replacing, they have to grow to get back to where the old ones where at. You have to wait an age for plants to mature and reach a size when they are showing off a magnificent display of colour.
