This could be an old narcissi originaily from an old orchard in Devon. Does any one in the area know?

Karen ... do you have the March copy of 'The Garden' ? I'm sure there's an article about older types of Narcissi in it ... I was reading through it in a waiting room ... as you do! The collectors live in Scotland ... wish I'd 'borrowed' it now.

Yes, indeed! They are right up on the highest part of the West Coast aren't they!! Near Poolewe if I remember rightly! Amazing! Did you also see the wonderful 'Carse of Gowrie' Garden in March edition of 'Gardens Illustrated'? Just up the road from here in a wonderful spot near Glendoick Gardens, but sadly not open to the public.

I only flicked through the mag. while I was waiting for an appointment, Karen. Wish I'd secreted it out with me now. That's a shame those gardens aren't open to the public. : o ((
