Place, where lived Beethovens "immortal lover" and where he composed Moonlight sonata

Then I recommend to you to see the film "Immortal Beloved" a film from 1994 with Garry Oldman as Beethoven. It is one of the most beautiful autobiographic films I have ever seen.
This is the manor house in Dolna Krupa (Slovakia), in time of Beethoven it was Austrian Hungarian monarchy. This place B. visited several times when his deafness started to manifest and here he led great part of his hidden private life. The family od this manor house supported him financially, but mostly emotionally. The film mixed up women in his life a little bit... in this museum is a great part of exhibition dedcated to this part of B. life.

I love Moonlight Sonata. It's a very special tune for me :)

Was one of my favourite films too. Amadeus was another special one, but in films they do use a lot of "artistic" altering, to appeal to viewers, but still gets the message across!

I LOVED Amadeus, but I haven't heard of this film about Beethoven. I would like to see it!

Director of the film was Milos Forman, a Czech refugee in the USA, by the way. My mother´s cousin wrote a play, which was filmed here in Slovakia, it is historical detective story, but the line of the film is on who could have had interest in killing Amadeus. This topic still irritates many.
