I live in a small city. My yard is about 1/3 of an acre. We have lived here 3 1/2 years, but the yard is still a work in progress. We learn by trial and error -- plants die and we replant until something thrives in that spot. 2011 has been busy so far. We are building a permanent fenced raised bed for a veggie garden. We also plan on widening a border in the back yard. Then we'll have to fill it in - but that's the fun part. I'm also investing in some equipment for indoor seed starting, which is also exciting.
