It's five years old Janette. It usually takes about three years before they bloom. Very much worth the wait. This one is about 7 feet tall now and it was about two feet when i bought it.

Mine has had 2 flowers this year although I've only had it since last summer. It's between 2 and 3 ft tall at present. I'm surprised at how it is growing because it is next to the house in rather a dry spot where nothing else has survived.

Each year it seems to get more flowers. the first year it bloomed i only had three. the second year maybe 8 to 10.
