I finally gave in to temptation and lifted my Gloriosa tubers today. Two tubers last year is now four. Cleaned them, potted them up and watered them in.

Disappointed?
I'm not sure which is the original tuber, but they have doubled in numbers every year so far,

Rather seriously poisonous actually!
Save yourself some money and buy tubers instead Sticki! They're seriously easy.

i cant remember the price but it was beyond my budget, lovely plant ~ about 3 or 4 foot tall.
i imagine they stay indoors all year? what sort of environment do they like?

Meanie:
These vines grow here outdoors (the tubers can be left in the ground during their dormancy)...however, I've never been able to grow them well. They always die and the tubers rot for some unknown reason.

They grow very well in pots Delonix.

No Sticky our Norfolk Earwigs are the biggest but Suffolk can boast the largest worms they are like snakes ... My OH is from " Silly Suffolk " he knows about worms LOL...

eeeeeerrrrrrllllllyuk!!!! i hate them!!!!
i shall have to stamp around their lawn to scare them off before i go out
luckily it seems to be a fairly dry area so im hoping the worms stay deep underground.
