Tulips don't grow in Houston. There are a few people and gardens that try to chill the bulbs and plant them anyway, but the resulting tulips are weak and spindly and don't last very long.

I imagine you have similar weather to Houston's! Georgia's a nice state, though...I've been to Atlanta and to Milledgeville.
