Khaya nyasica - African Mahogany Tree

There's dozens of African Mahogany trees in this area of the San Diego Zoo. Their new leaves are very beautiful in shades of red, bronze, yellow, purple. These trees have to be cut back a lot because they grow super fast. Photo taken March 26, 2011.
