Damson and Woodpecker Holes

In the Damson tree the Woodpeckers have made 2 or 3 holes and raised their families there. At the moment I think a family of Great Tits or Blue Tits is in residence!!
This branch may eventually break off in the winter winds though as it is dead. They come and feed on the fat balls on the bird table. We think they have come from the nearby forest.
