Pleiospilos nelii, known as Split Rocks or Cleft Stone due to its succulent leaves resemblance to a split stone. I caught mine in bloom yesterday. The flowers are only fully open a few hours late in the day before closing up for the night.

It's has a beautiful flower! Is this in your front yard?

Yes it's out front in the same pot as my Blue Glow Agave. It gets a lot of sun and heat on the patio on top of the garage.

You should come by and check it out, though its not blooming right now. This one sneaks in blooms when I'm not watching.

They're fascinating plants!
One of their common names over here is Living Stones.
