Almost everything that self seeds in my garden that is shrubby like this turns out to be Cotoneaster, but this leaf looks to pale and not thick enough for that.

looks like a fuscia shooting, but i doubt it, to early and would have to have a fuschia in there, hard to tell really

the stems are quite strong sandra... and there still growing so will be nice to see what it turns out to be...
