these are some of the many bulblets i get from scaling lily's that i buy, really easy all you need is a plastic bag vermiculite and patience plus the lily scales...

The bulb it is made up from loads of like fleshy fish scale segments. you can just peel away each scale, but not to many otherwise the bulb wont flower and it might weaken the bulb, but 4-5 scales is fine they will re-grow more.
