Hi all, not a lobster claw (Clianthus) but from the pea family, I grew it from seed off the RHS seed list, planted 3 plants in one pot and grew it up a pyramid of canes, it's about 1m high now (2 years old ) I put it outside last summer as it seem to suffer from red spider in the greenhouse. Hopefully this year it will set some seed.
I'm told it is also being investigated as a cancer treatment.

That is interesting about being investigated as a cancer treatment, the properties in green tea they use for cancer treatment at present.

It's proving to be quite hard to source.
Spider mite is a real pain - my Erythrina is an absolute magnet for them.
