KILMARNOCK WILLOW

Can you tell me what is on the trunk/stem of your willow? Is it foam pipe lagging? for support?

good idea with the lagging - put some around the cables - may do same as you on some trees

also love the black stems

Thankyou for all your comments W/L, Homebird and Paul. Can't really say why the pipe lagging is on there, it was there when we bought it. I think it may be protection for when its picked up when its bought, but I'm not really sure.

I put some hose around the cherry tree we have as it is buried a fair way down - must be for handling this then as you say
