Unknown shrub

This shrub was growing in a pot outside an apartment we rented in Paris. I don't know what it is, so any help would be gratefully received.

It looks like a Mandevilla or Dipladenia depending on which genus you prefer. They are not really frost hardy so would be better inside during the winter, but will love it outside in the warmer months. Check out the RHS website for some more information.
