livingstone daisys were my mums favourite so i always grow them in memory of her, pansys are a happy little flower i think, and love to grow veg cuts costs down on shopping :-)

How lovely to grow in memory of your mum my mums favourite was roses and I have plenty of those, panies my grandcher use to grow them all in rows which made me at 3 want to garden. Yes it does cut down on the food bill, I grow a lot of fruit and now just got an allotment with son sharing

that's great, i've put myself down for an allotment, but the waiting list is huge so i'll just bide my time then i can turn my veg patch into more garden :-) my mum used to grow a rose called madam butterfly a white rose, i can't remember who she did it for now... the old memory is not what it was Lol :-)

Thats great Surrey lad hope you get one, its a shame really as its always the wrong ones who manage to get one start off with good intentions until they find it harder than what they think when they are given an overgrown one as most allotments do, to see how keen you are, but then the allotments cannot give it to any one else until the end of the year when rent is due, unless of course some one offers to sell you theres, that would be a quicker way for you ask around. that's the one sixpence, but my mum's was a hybrid tea not a climber full of scent the flowers, the allotment they did say it could be some wait.. lets hope not.. :-)

Its a beautiful rose Surreylad, yes lets hope some give them up to shorted the que for an allotment .:O))
