It's gorgeous Gee , I get that black sooty stuff on mine do you do anything to stop it getting on yours or dosn't yours ever get it ?

It's little tiny scale insects underneath the leaves that cause the sooty stuff, Amy. It is particularly bad on my white one this year so I have sprayed it with soapy water which seems to help. I believe you can get commercial sprays but don't know if they affect friendly insects too.
