By the fish pond

The sunshine sure helps to bring our gardens to life. A lovely photo, Olive.

Yes it is a lovely picture, I sat there this afternoon and could hear a frog or toad, don't know which one, but never did see it. It has been a lovely day hope you have had a good one also.

We spent some time in the back yard sorting out washing our outdoor loungers and I attempted to clear the drains that were suffering froma build up of leaves and litter. We will need the covers on them to prevent further episodes. It's been a beautiful, sunny day here and I hope it stays that way so we can take time to sit out and enjoy the sun. :)

Maybe you've got a frog/toad in your pond? You'll have to keep a sharp eye and play "I Spy"....lol

He wasn't in the water, under the rocks on the side, but he knew I was there and never showed himself. lol. just croaking and croaking, think he was hoping a mate would come along.

Thats more of a lake than a pond :o))) LOL

It isn't that big mushy, quite a deep one though, only has goldfish in it but they are lovely and different colours it is strange how they start off black and then go gold, lovely to see them changing as they grow older.

I lost my koi and goldfish last year to thieving cats and herons ..Damn and blast .....

Oh dear that is awful, I probably shouldn't say this but we don't have a problem with a Heron. I know I shouldn't say it because now one will visit me!

Oh yes don't talk it up that happens to me quite often ..

That pond looks magnificent now. What a difference!! Brilliant!

Me too :O) it has had a bit of a spruce up but the border is left to do its own thing usually. I try to leave it for the wild life. No frogs though this year. Think they got that frog virus and died. Heard one the other day but didn't see it.
