Scruffy dog

Does he have a name ?

Yes Hywel it is 'Scruffy', when we bought him we said he would never be clean around here and we were right. His name suits him down to the ground. He goes frog hunting and mole digging and comes back black as our chimney back. lol. He is fabulous though.

Oh I thought 'scruffy' was just a discription lol. Yes it suits him then :)

LOL:O) Everyone thinks the same, I even called him back to the house one day as the workman was coming down the drive, can you imagine the look on his face!! lol. so embarassing.

He is still very handsome at 14

He certainly is and there will be loads of tears if anything happens to him. He is a grumpy old man dog and we love him to bits.

I had a beagle when I was at home that lived to 18 and my mum had a Dachshund that was 19. Rusty and Velvet, they went about a year apart. It was like having an old folks home for dogs.

Ha ha ha - I love it :O) Think the whole house here is a bit like that apart from Sammie of course when she goes this summer it will be like a morgue. not really looking forward to the last baby going but life has to go on and forward doesn't it. Ps: I would never tell her that I will miss her. She knows really though, mainly because she keeps telling me so. lol.

I shall be fine while ever there is a gc. close by and there is a garden to get out into. The trouble with my lot is they all move away. I have to drive every time I want to visit (wonder if they are telling me something) Sarah the next youngest only lives 1/2 an hour away she is the closest in distance. Son is in Grantham, Karen in Carnoustie (now that is a hell of treck) and Sammie is going to live near Wakefield (if they find a house) well she will find one I know, so that move will keep me busy for the summer. lol. How old is Ella?

18 and not going anywhere yet but is always telling me I will miss her when she does
