My Purple/Pink Firespike plant next to the front yard is almost in full bloom. After, it blooms it will need to be cut back a bit with all the other plants. lol! :>)

The front yard is pretty large...it has an 85ft tall Norfolk Island Pine (Araucaria heterophylla), a 50ft tall Jacaranda (Jacaranda mimosafolia) tree and a 35ft tall Southern Magnolia tree (Magnolia grandiflora)...and several other smaller trees and hundreds of palms.

Palms are my favorite trees. I used to be active in the International Palm Society for many years.
Yes, palms do remind me of Hawai'i.

Yes, I do know quite a bit about palms...I originally joined The International Palm Society back in 1984.
