It looks like scarlet pimpernel Anagallis arvensis. I have it as a weed but leave some because I think it's pretty :)

Thanks Hywel, I looked it up and it is a scarlet pimpernel Anagallis arvensis. I think a lot of "weeds"are really pretty. There are the blue ones as well but I haven't seen them in my garden (yet).

Scarlet Pimpernel's vivid flowers close up in bad weather - a trait that led to it being known as 'shepherd's weatherglass.

I wonder if the blue ones are Veronica arvensis. I have that here too. It's very pretty

I did a little search Hywel. The same name comes up for the blue type as well. It is considered a wild flower. So, I won't be pulling them out of the garden.
Do you remember the movie "The Scarlet Pimpernel"? I loved it when it came out!
