One pops up in the middle of my backyard every year. I don't know where it came from!

I think lily of the valley must be one of those plants that grows where it chooses to. I've tried to grow them in different gardens and never been successful - til now. It's disappeared on me on the other side of this garden as well. I haven't tried any other forms, for obvious reasons...
Yours must be a present from the birds Lauram. :-)

My Mum has this popping up between the garage wall and a fence ... almost impossible to get hold of a root ... I'll keep trying though! : o )

Always loved these, remember my father picking one in his mothers garden for me to smell when i was a few years old .Do you have any of the more recent introductions ,I recently purchased one which should have much larger Bells plus two different variegated leaf forms, I also have a pale pink one that I have had for years.
