putting in beds at the end of the pond ...I'm so glad I changed the pond now... in the centre of the depression will be a small spring of water bubbling over a cone of rocks...that's after I get the topsoil and plants ensconced...Fish to into their new digs tomorrow, hopefully.

Just posted an update, Sarah. did transplants today because it is west coast dry...(it's been raining lightly off and on...) lol. Oh...I would love to show you around...wouldn't take long...my yard is not huge. You would be most welcome... so if you do get the chance...by all means.

It's looking really good, Lori. This would be somewhere I would want to sit by for hours.

thank you David...you would be most welcome too. you've just reminded me that I have a bench to finish...and also want to construct a firepit so I can burn my prunings from two years ago!! I have some large limbs to dispose of and don't have access to a chipper. It is also nice to sit by a fire...something primal in the brain says...yes!!

NICE JOB...!, I decided, you must be a genius, your new pond is still large, you now have soft soil where you're old pond used to be, to dig in and make a bog garden, and now you have more room for plants and a firepit .!!! Smart move friend ! Wish I'd thought of it !.. ..lol.

Good job Lori, it is really starting to look nice. My parents are heading to Ontario tomorrow (Oshawa). Wish I was going with them to take a side trip to see your works in person.
