My Nihoa Fan palm is growing under this tent where my many shade-loving palms are growing. Photo taken April 16, 2011.

No, this is in the backyard under a shade tent which needs replacing...as it's falling apart.
The shade structure is in the front yard. Possibly this year I might get motivated to build a shade structure in the backyard. :>)
