Thats beautiful Dawn , San was kind enough to sent me a piece of hers I'm not sure if the conditions are right in my garden it's dry ! I lost mine last year but time will tell ,I hope it survives !

Well Amy, I have 3 in a row sitting a couple of feet high on a bank at the side if the pond, so not wet but shaded and damp I guess. I have a couple more on the edge of the pond and they are ok too.

I bought another one of these last year,after loosing my last one, planted this one in the wood, thought mine had died too Amy, but noticed some leaves just emerging today,obviously not going to flower this year but pleased to see leaves, they send up the flower spike first then the leaves don't they Dawn?

Yes Kathy, flowers first then leaves. No leaves on mine yet. You know how iris rhizomes sit half in and half out of the ground, well mine are kind of like that at the moment

lovely Dawn, yours seem more a roll shape than mine , mine are more round, but same flowers and colour, guess its just how they turn out lol, im rambling haha
