Corydalis ochroleuca

Corydalis ochroleuca (Corydalis ochroleuca)

This year my plants have seeded themselves everywhere!

It's not easy to keep the seedlings alive, as they don't seem to like being moved, but if I can, would you like a baby plant?

I'll try my best to get the babies to thrive for each of you. I don't know why they're so difficult, but I managed it two years ago, but not last year. Odd that!

Beautiful detail on the flowers.

Dd - might it be the cold weather that's done it?

Thanks Vincent. In Somerset there's a famous garden - Hestercombe House - and this plant seeds itself into crevices in the old walls, along with Erigeron karvinskianus. It's quite a sight!

Is'nt it strange how it can seed so easily into a wall and yet when you try to cultivate the seedlings, they can be really difficult. Plants, eh?

Very strange. Maybe it's something to do with the roots? I have no idea.

I will try, Sbg - I did it before, and sold a lot at the open day, so it can be done. :-)

LOL. I may have to send out a little clump of seedlings, but they'll look after themselves and flower just as well. They're doing well in the greenhouse at the moment. No casualties yet. :-)
