and what a tongue twister of a name. reminds me of a steptoe and son where instead of pelopponese the son Harold said polo ponies! :o)

Thank you Lori. I find it so hard to decide which Geranium I like best - I think it's the one I'm looking at at that moment. ;-))

I went to an Open Garden last year, and fell for a geranium growing in a border. I asked its name, and the owner didn't know, because he'd grown it from seed, which didn't tie in with what he'd ordered.
Anyway - this kind man got his fork and dug me up a clmp on the spot. I potted it up at home, and was amazed that the wilted piece survived. It has just opened its first flower today - and it's as lovely as I remember it. :-)))
