Alexandramou:

Yes, this is the very tropical and evergreen Plumeria obtusa 'Singapore'.

I will try my best.

Alexandramou:

Once you smell the fragrance of the flowers....you'll say it's worth it! The fragrance of these flowers are so intoxicating.

My Singapore plumeria is blooming again...that's the great thing about this plumeria as long as the weather is warm it will bloom. The Plumeria rubra go dormant in winter...and rarely bloom in winter.

I'm sold, you said the magic word...fragrance.
It's right next to me now....goes out when the mornings warm up and back in before the sun sets.

Alexandramou:

Now that's dedication!

Yes, the fragrance is so incredible...this is another reason why plumeria trees are more popular than ever here in CA.

Alexandramou:

How's your plumeria cutting rooting?

24 May, 2011

Delonix,
It still looks good but no new growth. Still bringing it in at night except for last night....ooops I forgot. It's been nice and HOT lately so I might just start leaving it out.

Alexandramou:

It loves heat! It should start rooting soon.
