I do believe they're spreading!

They are superb! Mine are just at the spikey stage at the moment (no sign of flowers) - the difference in development between plants in the south of the country and up here in the north is really quite amazing!

They're not 'that' settled, Cinders, but when I put them in, I only planted a few, and they've probably quadrupled in four or five years.
Constance, just think - when yours are in flower, mine will be a memory. ;-)

Mine are in flower at last , I moved them from there original place they were at the entrance to the childrens hide-out and were trampled on each year , enough was enough they have been moved !

I am so excited because after three years, I finally have flowers on my tiny clump of this! Not out yet, and brrrrr it's cold here this evening, but sooooon!

Really? It's warm-ish here, K. I'm pleased to hear about your Convallarias, though. :-)

Oh yes, it was cold in the fog yesterday. When the sun came through it was lovely , but then quick as a flash it was misty and brrrrrrr.....Misty again this morning....it's a shame, but at least my spring flowers will last a bit longer!

My flowers appear and are frizzled up far too quickly, Karen. :-((

Ah, the sadness of living in the warm south west! Mine will probably still be sitting there cool as cucumbers until mid May!! It's misty again here today and cool, but not cold like last night.

We had a light shower at lunch time - about a teaspoonful of rain!
My Clem. 'Guernsey Cream has at least 10 flowers open since yesterday. It just isn't going to last!
I have buds on the roses, too. Eeek! What will be in flower in June?
22 Apr, 2011
Don't worry Spritz. I remember one June here, we had 10 degrees for almost the whole of the month! Gosh I was not a happy gardener that year! And do you remember that horrid hail we had last May? And If I remember rightly, in 1976, the year of that amazing long hot summer....it snowed in Lincs in June! yes it really did, i'm not kidding.....so don't worry, it will all be ok...unless we get bad frosts! lol.....;))

Yes, that's true Spritz. Every cloud..................

And that's meant to cheer me up? LOL. Can you imagine 'Joe Public' coming out in the snow? Hmmmm...

I noticed mine are out like that today, and yes they do spread everywhere. I have them coming up between paving slabs now.
