More each day! Can't wait to get down there! :-))
Since I took that photo somebody smashed the shed window! I arrived on Monday & opened the shed door only to find the cupboard below the window covered in broken glass with a couple of bigger pieces still hanging in the frame & small pieces scattered all over the floor!
There was a Police Incident card stuck in the window frame as well!
The following day while I was working on the 1/2 plot alongside the main plot a lady came by & asked me if I knew who the owner of the shed was as the window had been smashed. I told her I shared it with the owner & she than told me that she had seen a couple of youths hanging around & decided to see what they were up to.
She said one of them had a deep cut on his hand between his thumb & his index finger.. I don't know how he cut himself but I saw no blood on any of the glass nor around the outside of the shed on the ground. Only a few days before I had cleared away the grass & weeds growing there so it was bare soil.
Nothing, other than the glass, had been broken & nothing had been stolen. The door has no lock, just a catch & a hasp in which a long screw is inserted to keep the door closed when we are not there. They could have entered through the door & had a look in the cupboard without breaking the glass.

The police rang Gerry & told him the "delinquents" were not on the police records so there is nothing they can do.
Nothing else was broken & nothing was stolen so Gerry has let the case go.
6d, I'm afraid I've had no success with Freckles at the moment but the yellow ones are doing fine & I must transplant them soon.

Thank you Balcony for the update.

I took a photo of the Clematis today but I didn't have time to transplant them as I had hoped to. :-(( I'm going to upload the photo to my photos so you can seen it. In just a few days during the past week they have put on a sudden spurt of growth. I even noticed some more of the seeds had germinated!!!

I must put them in the ground somewhere when I get back from our visit to our boys & my wife's family.
All the flowers on the two apple trees have fallen off now. I expect this tree will produce as much fruit as last year, & according to Gerry, it always produces more fruit than he knows what to do with!
I hope the small one in front of the GH produces some more fruit this year. Last year it only made a couple of apples up in the top & they disappeared! I have no idea what happened to them other than I may have found one on the ground which I may have mistaken for the fruit of another tree on another plot not far away!
